So, to manipulate the statistics, the winner is Ollie/Oleigh/Olly/Olie/Oli/Ollee by 18 votes to Oliver's 9. That's 2 to 1.

Of course this is just light hearted fun, but thanks for your various comments and opinions!

Amy of course says to me, "so we'll pick the name with the least votes". We don't want to have the most popular one, haha, and there's too many Oliver's appearing on the playgrounds (now that we are aware of them).

And of course, Amy was determined to get her way and her sole vote for 'Ollee' wins.

However, at least, I've since found out that 'Ollee' is celtic (I was trying to convince her to go for my made up Irish spelling "Oléigh"which was proving quite popular). So Ollee is a celtic word from the Isle of Man (ironic that!) and it means 'cattle'. And the kid will be year of the Ox. So Ollee it is !!!
